1. Who We Are
CALIBRATE is the coaching methodology of GVNFIT (Guhayavarman Fitness). Vemisis is the training app used to deliver CALIBRATE coaching. This Privacy Policy covers the calibrate.gvnfit.online website, the Vemisis app and our coaching services.
2. Information We Collect
When you apply through the intake form or use the Vemisis app, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, age, contact details, physical measurements, health and fitness history, goals, and payment-related information. We also collect usage data generated while you use the app, such as workout logs, meal logs, check-in responses, and progress photos you choose to upload.
3. Health and Fitness Data From Your Devices
If you choose to connect Apple Health (HealthKit) on iPhone or Health Connect on Android, Vemisis reads only the data types you approve, such as steps, active calories, workouts, heart rate, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen, respiratory rate and body weight.
- This data is used only to provide coaching features, such as your recovery score, trends and your coach's review of your progress.
- It is never used for advertising or marketing, and it is never sold.
- It is shared only with the service providers needed to run these features, as described in this policy.
- You can disconnect access at any time in your phone's Health or Health Connect settings, and you can ask us to delete data that has already been synced.
4. AI-Assisted Features
Some features use AI service providers, including meal-photo analysis, lab report reading and A.L.F.R.E.D answers. When you use these features, the relevant content (for example the photo, the uploaded report, your question and related coaching context such as recovery or sleep trends) is sent to our AI providers, which currently include Google and Anthropic, to generate the result. AI results are estimates and coaching aids, not medical advice.
5. How We Use Your Information
- To design and deliver your personalised coaching programme.
- To communicate with you about your programme, appointments and account.
- To process payments and maintain billing records.
- To improve our coaching methodology and app functionality.
- To send you service-related notices, including updates to these policies.
6. Progress Photos & Sensitive Data
Progress photos and health information you submit are treated as sensitive and are only accessible to your assigned coach and, where relevant, authorised administrative staff. We do not sell this information to third parties.
7. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers who help us operate the platform (for example hosting, database, email delivery, AI processing and payment processing), each of whom is bound to protect your data and use it only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.
8. International Data Transfers
Our main database is hosted in India (Mumbai region). Some service providers, including website hosting, email and AI providers, may process data outside India. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to comply with applicable Indian law.
9. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting or reporting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised, subject to applicable law.
10. Your Rights
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, request corrections, or request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to any retention we are legally required to maintain. You can delete your account from the Profile screen in the Vemisis app, or contact admin@gvnfit.online to make a request.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting who can view sensitive fields. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Cookies & Analytics
Our website and web portal may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand how the service is used, in order to improve it.
13. Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 without parental consent.
